Abstract
Abstract. Paper deals with theoretical background of dielectric modeling of liquid insulation materials. At present three methods exist and are
worldwide in use: the analysis of relaxation currents (PDC, Polarisation and Depolarisation Current), analysis of the dissipation factor tan δ over a
wide frequency range (FDS, Frequency Domain Spectroscopy) and analysis of the recovery voltage (RVM, Recovery Voltage Measurement). In
practice, different methods applied on the same It is well-known that different results for chosen properties ere caused only by modeling the
insulation system and the material samples for getting basic dielectric measurements.
