Abstract
One of the primary methods for determining the quality of the insulation system is measuring resistance, whether it is insulation resistance or surface resistance. These variables are used to determine the quality of the insulation system on which is possible to evaluate the overall condition of the insulation system. This article is aimed at measuring the surface resistance of the slot part of insulation, which is calculated per unit area. It includes measurement of insulation resistance and by means of the mathematical apparatus polarization index is calculated.
