Abstract

Partial discharge activity monitoring in high voltage electric power device insulation systems requires usage of direct galvanic method which is used most widely or some alternative methods, used as supplementary methods such as indirect inductive or acoustic method. Indirect method requires inductive or capacitance sensors. This paper describes such capacitance sensors and their usage in this method.
