Improoving transient stability by TCSC

Abstract
This paper describes the influence of TCSC (thyristor controlled series compensator) on transient stability of electric power system. Reactance of the lines and power flow can by changed by TCSC. TCSC can help during disturbances in power system. TCSC can also increase the transient stability of the power system.
