Utilization of the Fresnel principle for the concentration of solar radiation

Abstract

The article deals with the use of solar energy for energy purposes using the concentration of solar radiation. Compound parabolic concentrators are often used for this purpose. They are characterized by high design demands. In this contribution, the possibilities of using of the Fresnel concentration principle are analyzed using the constructed model. The results show the benefits of this principle.
