Abstract
Príspevok vysvetľuje dôvody akumulácie elektrickej energie, hlavne v súvislosti s narastaním inštalovaného výkonu v obnoviteľných zdrojoch, poukazuje na možnosti dostupných technológií akumulácie a porovnáva ich na základe vybraných charakteristických ukazovateľov, ako napr. množstvo naakumulovanej energie, čas vybíjania, hustota energie, investičné náklady, účinnosť akumulačného cyklu a pod.
